THE COURSE
Set in the Sonoran Desert and surrounded by the majestic McDowell Mountains, TPC Scottsdale, a PGA TOUR Facility, embodies the standards of excellence in golf operations worldwide. The Stadium Course, designed by the team of Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, is a masterful blend of challenge and playability for the enjoyment of all levels of golfers, professional and amateur alike.
TPC Scottsdale's Stadium Course, built in 1986, hosted its first FBR Open in 1987. The FBR Open has now become the largest attended golf event in the world. This brings immeasurable attention and respect to the Stadium Course which has won numerous awards. The event draws over 500,000 fans and is the largest spectator golf event in the world. In fact, the enthusiasm of the fans that surround the 16th hole gives this short par-3 a "stadium" atmosphere and creates one of the most exciting settings in professional sports. This hole is one of many unique locations on the Stadium course where fans witness many history-making moments by the world's greatest players on the PGA TOUR.
Named one of the "Top 10 Public Golf Courses in Arizona" by Golf Digest, the magnificent par-71, 7,216- yard Stadium Course. Lauded for its outstanding environmental stewardship, the Stadium Course was the first golf course in Arizona to be designated an Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary System.

The Scottsdale Fairmont Princess has extended a special rate of $238.10, including tax for a standard room on the nights of September 19th and 20th.
